British Council Taiwan organizes multiple exams annually for educational and professional institutions in the UK and other countries. If you need to take an overseas entrance exam, school exam, or professional exam in Taiwan, please contact your school or professional institution first to confirm the exam dates, subjects, and times. Then, follow the registration process below to apply for our exam services.

Please note that exam service arrangements require processing time, so please complete the application process at least ten working days before the exam date.

  1. Go to our online registration system and create an account.
  2. Make an online registration. You may also refer to this Registration Process.
  3. Confirm and submit your application. After submitting the application, your application will be processed within 1-3 working days.
  4. The payment notification email will be sent to you when your application has been confirmed. Please log into the online registration system to make payments.
  5. After the payment is confirmed, your registration is completed. We will contact the school or professional institution to arrange the exam.

  • Our examination services are charged per session, with each session lasting up to 3 hours. The session fee includes venue charges, equipment fees, invigilation fees, administrative fees, and examination paper delivery fees.
  • If an examination on the same day exceeds 3 hours, a second session fee will apply. If the examination takes place outside of our office hours, an additional hourly fee will be charged.

Starting from April 1, 2026, the registration fees will be adjusted as follows:

If you request to cancel your exam more than 7 working days before the exam date, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total exam fee will be charged.

If you request to cancel your exam within 7 working days of the exam date, no refund will be given.

Please note that if you fail to present proper identification on the day of the exam or if you are absent for personal reasons, including minor illness, no refund will be given.
