Why you should choose our English tests

Our English Assessments for Schools provide age-appropriate testing that lets students shine at every stage of their education.

Help them do their best:

  • Greater engagement – Teachers and parents know that engaged, motivated pupils do better.
  • Fast and reliable – We use the latest technology, including artificial intelligence, to get accurate results to students quickly and efficiently.
  • Supportive assessment – We don’t use tests that pass or fail students. Our tests measure students as they improve their proficiency.
  • Keeping parents informed – Parents can see what their children have learned and how they’re doing compared to their classmates.
  • Mapped to an international standard, the test is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) – Easily understand the results with detailed candidate score reports.
  • Not aligned to any specific curriculum or course – Testing can be easily integrated into existing systems.
  • No specific preparation required – Students simply need to become familiar with the test format.

We have created a quick guide on effective ways of approaching English language assessment in schools.

Engaging learners: Primary English Test (pre-A1–B1)

As Primary education comes to an end, students have reached a key milestone in their learning journeys. It’s the ideal moment to assess their level of English and inform future learning goals when moving into secondary education. Students aged 9 to 12 do better when they're interested and motivated, which is why we designed our tests with that in mind. Our Primary English tests use story-based animation to engage students so that they can do their best.

Developing confidence: Secondary English Test (A1–C)

Our test is designed to track progress as students move through secondary school. At the same time, we know how important it is to help students feel confident and supported. Our Secondary English Test draws from activities and scenarios that teenagers encounter every day. This lets students aged 13 to 16 feel confident, showcase their language skills and reach their full potential.

A springboard to success: Upper Secondary English Tests (A1–C2)

Our Upper Secondary Tests serve as a springboard to unlock exciting opportunities in the future.
