Language is the key that unlocks the door to the world and a lifelong asset that parents can bestow upon their children, yet the trend of memorising vocabulary and grammar in Taiwan schools have caused many people to give up learning English as a child. How can we help create the best English learning environment for the next generation so that interest for the language is not just developed and sustained, but confidence in using English as part of their daily lives is also boosted?

British Council Taiwan takes part in a special English learning initiative launched by local news giant United Daily News, exploring the current English learning environment in Taiwan and, through taking in aspects of international and domestic education experts, teachers and parents encouraging the approach of flipped learning, aim to help Taiwanese parents find the learning motivation of every primary school kid.
