Rachael Sargent

Senior Teacher, Young Learners

I have been teaching young learners in East Asia since 2004 and continually strive to increase my level of expertise through gaining internationally recognised qualifications such as the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching, Cambridge Young Learner Teaching Certificate, Diploma in English Language Teaching, Diploma in Education Management and more recently an MA in TESOL.

I frequently observe our young learner classes, organise regular trainings to ensure the teaching quality.

Gerhard Erasmus

Coordinator, Young Learners

I’ve been teaching in Taiwan since 2003. I have been involved with young learner teacher training since 2009 and have been on the IATEFL Young Learners Special Interest Group Committee. I have a Cambridge Delta, PGCE and MSc Education, so teaching is pretty much my life. I spend my free time with my family and they are my favourite thing in Taiwan. If you have any questions about learning English, feel free to talk to me.

Scott Kingston

Teacher

After completing a TEFL course in 2006, I moved over to Taiwan. Not long after I began a Post Graduate Course in Education (PGCEi) and shortly after joined the teaching team at the British Council. Since 2006 I have taught students from beginner levels to advanced, from young children to senior citizens. I enjoy the challenge of teaching and especially enjoy helping students overcome any learning barriers they may have. My hobbies include, cooking, music, playing guitar, films, and surfing.
